Site Details
Situated within the boundaries of the Caringorms National Park the site provides a great opportunity to develop green energy in an environmentally sensitive area. The turbine house, below, will be clad in wood to match the adjacent chalets.
Pipe Transportation
At this remote site a helicopter was used to lift the pipes into place. This avoided the need to cut an access track up the hill.
Electricity Output
The scheme will generate enough electricity to power 172 UK households.
