Haddo is a low head Archimedes Screw scheme. it utilises existing structures from an old mill.

The turbine operates like an auger in reverse, as water passes down the screw it applies torque to the attached gearbox and generator.

The scheme will generate enough electricity to power 13.5 UK households.
